In this upcoming match between Ortiz vs. Mayweather, there are probably a lot of rumours about why Mayweather here chose to fight Ortiz instead of Pacquiao! Well, to tell you honestly, it is not but the second option! I mean, Ortiz here have just got himself the Welterweight Championship which in all honestly was a big success in his career. And right now, all that’s left for them, especially Ortiz is to prove is if he is ready to take on the challenges that might go on his way as a champion! And right now, this is but his first ever defence for the belt with the reigning undefeated Mayweather Jr. Whose pretty much confidence about he’s decision in fighting the 24 yrs. Old Champion instead of Manny Pacquiao! He’s not afraid or anything! He just probably wants to test if this Mexican fighter truly deserves to be called as champion!The lives of these two boxers are but far from what it seems to be! The Mexican champion lived a life far from the bright lights and is but left behind by his parents leaving him and his brother in a poster child care in Garden city, Mexico! He’s a pretty much determined boy! And right now, he has to make all those things disappear! Not literally disappear! But more like put into past, and live the life that he deserves! This is a fight where he has a lot to gain when he wins! This could be his big break! A southpaw Mexican fighter who just won a title against Andrei Berto! Who would’ve thought that the next big thing for him is the Ortiz vs. Mayweather! I know that this is crazy! But you know what?! This Mexican fighter can punch! He’s got everything he needs right there in his fist! He is going to prove to all his fans, including those who oppose and has negative feedbacks on him that he can win against Floyd Mayweather Jr.!
